French rolling pins are simple clean lined, beautiful kitchen tools! If you love to make pastries, bake bread, or craft cookies, then a tapered french rolling pin will be a pleasure for you to use! 
This french rolling pin is crafted from black walnut from eastern Canada and eastern maple from Ontario, Canada The maple strip has been carefully inlayed into the rolling pin, giving the striking curved line running through the core of the rolling pin.. All woods have been carefully selected, milled and dried to ensure that these rolling pins will last for many generations. Each piece is turned one at a time, and then sanded smooth to bring out the natural grain pattern. Finally they are rubbed with our own handcrafted beeswax bowl polish, then buffed to a fine sheen.

Food safe oil/beeswax topcoat rubbed and buffed to a soft sheen. Just wipe with a damp cloth after use and dry, do not soak in water or use dishwasher to clean.

NOTE: The French Rolling pin shown is an example of the handmade pin you will receive. Yours will be crafted from the same species of beautiful wood, in the same style. Being that we are a small team, we do not have the resources to photograph every item that leaves our shop!
